Welcome to the Table! I’ve been at the forefront of career development throughout my professional career, sharing my passion for equal opportunities and access for all, putting confidence back into individual hands to own their careers.
I’ve not had the most traditional career to date, starting off in the not-for-profit sector in events fundraising, moving to operational roles. This followed a transfer to the wider public sector and a pivot to HR in a mixture of talent management, development and resourcing roles up to executive level. I’ve built and led international teams, including the EMEA Diversity Recruitment team at an International Investment Bank (2022), and currently work within Global Talent Solutions at a Global Re-Insurer.
Striving to improve Diversity, Equity & Inclusion has been at my core throughout my career & a key driver for this site; from mentoring young adults in the transition from school to the workplace, via the EY Foundation, to working on reverse mentoring schemes, coaching entry level colleagues through to promotion, and providing a point of challenge for senior hiring decisions.
My varied career across sectors, combined with a genuine interest in people, their development, and success, will aim to add a fresh perspective to the traditional approaches to career management. I hope this site opens up opportunities to all those proactively shaping their careers.
